What is it?
Sbwave email encryption is a free service that encrypts text messages for email delivery.
some non-sbwave encryption choices
encrypt but don't send email (no email address required)
What is encryption?
"To put into code or cipher"...or basically make sure only the recipient can read your email.
How does it work?
The encrypted email is entered and sent via a web form. The recipient receives the encrypted message in a similar form, then simply enters the encryption code you chose and the message is decrypted.
What is required?
An Encryption Code that both you and the recipient know.
A mail client that understands HTML such as Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger, Hotmail, NetZero, Lycos or any number of free email systems.
There is no software to install, nothing to sign up for, and no adds attached to the messages.
Why encrypt email?
In case your email is routed to the wrong person.
In case your email is intercepted by hackers.
So personal messages can be sent to shared accounts with only the intended recipient able to read the message.
So nosey friends, co-workers, girl/boy-friends, wives, husbands,...etc can't read what you don't want them to.
So anything you want kept private will remain private.
